This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown is set to air live from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, LA. There’s a lot of anticipation heading into the show as The Rock has confirmed that he will be returning to SmackDown.
We’re currently on the road to WrestleMania 41, and there’s been a lot of speculation regarding The Rock’s status for the big event over the last few months. Ahead of SmackDown, The Rock dropped a hint regarding his appearance on the show when he commented on his own Instagram post and said that he’s going to “f*** up a certain someone’s life.”
The Final Boss posted the following:
“The Final Boss is coming to handle business, deliver a big beautiful gift to the city of New Orleans and f*** up a certain someone’s life with the Final Boss gospel.
#smackdown”
On the Raw after WrestleMania 40, The Rock teased a match with Cody Rhodes, but he seemingly ended his feud with The American Nightmare when he praised Cody during the Raw premiere on Netflix last month. One way or another it will be interesting to see whose life The Rock is coming to “f*** up” on SmackDown.
WWE is currently focusing on the following points for tonight’s show:
– The Final Boss returns to SmackDown tomorrow
– #DIY vs. Pretty Deadly – WWE Tag Team Championship Match
– Cody Rhodes, Damian Priest & Braun Strowman vs. Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu & Tama Tonga
– Jimmy Uso takes on Drew McIntyre
Stay tuned for updates.
