The Rock Responds To Claims That He Threw Triple H Under The Bus Following WrestleMania 41

WrestleMania 41 aired live from Las Vegas last weekend and the event has been a very hot topic over the last few days. Many people are talking about the fact that The Rock didn’t appear at the event after he played a big role in John Cena’s heel turn at Elimination Chamber.

Earlier this week The Rock appeared on the Pat McAfee Show and noted that he didn’t think The Final Boss was needed in the Cody vs. Cena rivalry following Elimination Chamber. Rock also noted that he would have done some things differently regarding the finish for the Cody vs. Cena match.

Dave LaGreca addressed The Rock’s comments during a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, and he claimed that The Rock threw Triple H under the bus following WrestleMania.

“Now that everybody is b***hing and moaning about the end of WrestleMania 41, The Rock is going to go on Pat McAfee, who has the biggest show in sports talk radio. You’re gonna go on his show and say, ‘Yeah, I would have done it differently. Yeah, I would have adjusted some things.’ Nice to hear from you now, pal. It’s over. So now that’s everybody’s b***hing and complaining, ‘Yeah, I would have done it differently.’ Really? You talk about a Monday morning quarterback, that’s a Tuesday morning quarterback! Thanks pal.”

“Didn’t make yourself available, didn’t show up at WrestleMania, but now I’m gonna say, ‘Yeah, I would have done things differently.’ You talk about completely throwing Triple H under the bus, that’s exactly what The Rock did. You know what you say if you’re The Rock, ‘You know what? I thought they did an awesome job.’ Or you know what, don’t say anything at all. But by saying that, you just threw Triple H under the bus.”

The Rock addressed Dave LaGreca’s comments when he posted the following comment on Instagram:

“Hi Dave, the business is a complete work. Always has been, always will be. Every aspect of it. Every match. Every interview. Please join me, Cody, Cena, Brian and the rest of us for our creative discussions so you can expand your perspective. Until then, stop ranting, it’s not healthy my friend. Enjoy the show. Ps, tell Bubba I have Grand Marnier and hush puppies for all of us.”

John Cena is currently being advertised for this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, but as of this writing there’s currently no word on when The Rock could be making another appearance on WWE programming.
