This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw kicked off in a big way as Cody Rhodes made his way down to the ring to cut a promo in front of a fired up crowd.

Cody asked the fans to ride with him into the biggest tag team match in WWE history on April 6, and he also asked them to fight with him when he challenges Roman Reigns on April 7. The American Nightmare then asked all the fans in the arena to point at the WrestleMania sign with him and they did.

Rhodes started to speak again, but he was cut off as The Rock made a surprise entrance and interrupted him. The Rock and Cody stood face to face as the fans chanted “holy s**t.” Neither Cody nor The Rock said anything. They just stared at one another for a few minutes as the crowd started chanting “This is awesome!” The fans then started a brief “CM Punk” chant.

The Rock put his hands behind his back and walked up to Cody Rhodes. He whispered something to Cody which no one else could hear because he didn’t say it into a microphone. The Great One then left the ring without saying or doing anything else and the fans booed him then chanted “Rocky sucks!”

When the show returned from the commercial break The Rock stopped for a brief interview backstage and Jackie Redmond asked what he said to Cody. He paused then said, “Go ask Cody Rhodes.”
