The Rock Gives Advice To NXT Star

The Rock is one of the most famous professional wrestlers of all time, and he’s currently one of the biggest movie stars in the world.

The former WWE Champion may not be active in the ring at the moment, but he still pays attention to the business, and he offered some very helpful advice to one of NXT’s brightest up and coming stars.

Dakota Kai recently spoke to WWE.com and she opened up about how The Rock captivated her while she was growing up.

“I am lucky to have a close family bond and a lot of cool memories from my childhood,” Kai said. “My brother was the one who actually got me into WWE. He watched it all the time, and I started to watch with him. I was hooked on The Rock and his ability to captivate an audience. From there, one of my friends I used to do athletics with told me about a local company that needed more girls. That was in 2007, and I haven’t looked back since.”

The Rock responded to the article by telling the NXT star he’s looking forward to watching her career, and to always remember to have fun, work hard and stay above backstage politics.
