The Rock is one of the most famous people on the planet, so when he speaks people listen. Rock has been making headlines recently after The Daily Star published an interview featuring quotes that they claimed were from The Rock where he allegedly made comments about how “generation snowflake” is taking the world backwards. However, The Great One is now denying that he ever said those words, and he took to social media to say that the interview never took place.
Rock later took to Instagram to set the record straight when he told his fans that criticizing isn’t his style, and he never said those words. The former WWE Champion posted the following:
“Settin’ the record straight. The interview never happened. Never said those words. 100% false. If I ever had an issue with someone, a group, community or a generation — I’d seek them out, create dialogue and do my best to understand them. Criticizing ain’t my style.
I don’t cast stones and we all get to be who we are. #millies #plurals #boomers #TequilaGeneration”
