The Revival Respond To Reports That Vince McMahon Wanted To Make Them A Comedy Team

It’s no big secret that The Revival weren’t happy with their WWE run, as the duo asked for their release multiple times. Recently WWE confirmed that the former champions have been released, and now everyone’s waiting to see what they’re going to do next.

WWE certainly tried to keep The Revival as they were reportedly offered new deals, but they turned them down, and last year it was reported that Vince McMahon wanted to turn the duo into a comedy team.

Cassidy Haynes recently took to Twitter to share what appears to be concept art for a repackaged Revival, and he noted that Vince McMahon wanted them to have new music and new gear.

A fan asked Cash Wheeler, formerly known as Dash Wilder in WWE, to confirm or deny the report and he responded by saying, “Plead the fifth.”

At this point it’s not clear what The Revival will be doing next, but it’s been rumored that they’re AEW bound.
