The New Day Turns On Big E On WWE Raw

As the celebration kicked off Adam Pearce was shown in the ring surrounded by New Day memorabilia. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods entered together as they looked at more New Day memorabilia that was setup at the entrance area.

Adam Pearce congratulated The New Day then started a “New Day rocks” chant before leaving. Xavier Woods told the fans that being successful in WWE for 10 years is so much more than they ever could have dreamed of when they started this. He thanked the fans.

Kofi Kingston said he never dreamed they would have achieved so much as he told the fans that they couldn’t have done it without each and every one of them. The fans started to call out Big E’s name.

Xavier Woods said that they miss him too, but they wanted to come out to tell the fans that what they’re about to tell them is not their fault. Kingston addressed the fans and said that he and Xavier Woods talked about what happened last week. Kofi teased a break up announcement as Big E’s music hit to a big reaction from the fans.

The fans gave Big E a standing ovation when he got to the ring. The former WWE Champion said that he wished he was there under different circumstances. He said that watching Kofi and Xavier say hurtful things to one another it troubled his soul. Big E brought up how 10 years ago Kofi was thinking about retirement, and Xavier Woods and himself thought they were going to get fired.

Big E brought up some of the big moments they’ve shared personally and how Kofi and Xavier were there for him through his injury. E said that what they’ve built means a lot to a lot of people, and it means a lot to him. So, until he’s cleared to return to the ring he’s going to be here every single week to serve as their managers.

The fans cheered then chanted “New Day rocks.” Xavier and Kofi looked conflicted. Xavier questioned Big E and asked, “now you wanna come back?” Woods got serious and said “E, you left us!” Big E tried to defend himself by reminding them that he had a broken neck. Kofi laid in on Big by reminding him that Steve Austin, Kurt Angle and Edge broke their neck but still came back.

Xavier Woods and Kofi ripped into Big E and questioned why he didn’t come back sooner. Big E said he’s been meeting with doctors, but Xavier cut him off and said they’ve heard it all before. Kofi claimed that Big E chose a new life over The New Day, he chose a new girlfriend over them, he chose a new desk job over them.

Woods asked if Big E knows the burden he’s become. The former King of the Ring informed Big E that fans always ask if they miss him, and he said they do, but Big E doesn’t miss The New Day. Kofi accused Big E of choosing himself over The New Day. Xavier Woods told Big E to stop teasing people because he’s never going to be medically clear, and since that’s the case he should get out of the ring and back to his desk where he belongs.

Big E got upset as he told them they can fix it. He reached out for a group hug, but Kofi pushed him away. Big E called out to Xavier Woods, but Woods looked away. The fans chanted “Big E rocks.” Big E left the ring then Kofi got in Xavier’s face. Woods said “now it’s just me and you.” They shook hands as the fans booed.
