Survivor Series is now less than three weeks away and one of the matches that is scheduled to take place on November 19th will see Intercontinental Champion The Miz battle United States Champion Baron Corbin.
This is one of a number of Raw versus SmackDown Live matchups that will have nothing but pride on the line, but it seems that The Miz and Baron Corbin have already taken things to the next level.
Corbin shared a promo on social media last week where he talked about the invasion of Monday Night Raw before advising The Miz that he should stay at home, “and keep playing dress-up” with his wife Maryse.
Whilst it has taken Miz almost a week to respond to The Lone Wolf, his reaction was worth the wait. Miz proved last night that when it comes to cutting promos, you should never try to challenge him to a competition as he completely wiped the floor with the former NXT star.
Whilst Miz complimented the current United States Champion by saying that was the best promo he had ever delivered, he stated that his promos are usually on live TV in front of millions of people and not filmed on an iPhone and shared on social media. He also told him that he worked hard day in day out to ensure that the Intercontinental Championship remained relevant, whilst the United States Championship was working overtime to make its holder relevant.
The former WWE Champion went on to state that Corbin was just another “generic big guy who would be gone from WWE in two years” before warning him that if he ever mentioned his pregnant wife again he would “knock his f**king teeth down his throat!”
It seems that at least one match ahead of Survivor Series is already capturing the WWE Universe’s attention, which can only lead to many more incredible exchanges from the two stars in the coming weeks.

It may have taken The Miz a week to respond, but it was definitely worth the wait.
