The Miz shocked the world when he cashed in Money in the Bank on Randy Orton in 2010, and he shocked the world once again when he cashed in Money in the Bank on Drew McIntyre to become WWE Champion once again at Elimination Chamber.
Not only did The Miz win the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber on Sunday, but he also made history in the process.
Following Miz’s big victory on Sunday night the WWE Stats & Info Twitter page noted that Miz is the first WWE star to become a 2 time Grand Slam Champion.
In order to become a WWE Grand Slam Champion wrestlers must win either the WWE Championship or Universal Title, either the Raw or SmackDown Tag Team Titles, and both the United States States Title and Intercontinental Title. The Miz is the first person to complete the cycle twice.
