For years fans have been wondering when WWE will build a physical Hall of Fame. We’ve heard rumors, we’ve seen concept art, but still it has yet to become a reality.
Back in 2013 Universal Orlando seemed like the leading candidate for a WWE Hall of Fame and yesterday they announced on Facebook that they would be closing NBA City this August. They also said they would be announcing a “exciting, new concept” which is rumored to be the WWE Hall of Fame.
Theme park based website BehindTheThrills.com is reporting that shortly after NBA City closes down, we should expect an announcement. The announcement will be that NBA City will be replaced by a Cheesecake Factory, a Universal movie set themed restaurant and a WWE Hall of Fame.
Sounds like the dream of a WWE Hall of Fame could very well become a reality sooner than later.
