After weeks of hype, WWE Super ShowDown is set to air live on the WWE Network tomorrow from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Big names such as Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, Triple H, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and more are set to appear, and some interesting names also traveled overseas for the show.
It was recently reported that Natalya and Alexa Bliss were brought to Saudi Arabia, and there’s speculation that WWE could be adding a Natalya vs. Alexa Bliss match to the Super ShowDown card.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE officials are keeping quiet in regards to whether or not the match is going to happen. As of a few hours ago even Bliss and Natalya didn’t know if they would be wrestling on the show.
It was also noted that there’s no reason women should not be allowed to wrestle in Saudi Arabia, because other female entertainers have performed there.
However, the plan has gone back and forth, and that it’s up to the Saudi government whether it happens or not. If they don’t end up wrestling on Friday, it’s being said that female WWE Superstars will likely compete on a Saudi Arabia show in the future.
