Rusev spent several months away from WWE, but the Bulgarian Brute recently returned to television and he’s quickly reestablishing himself as a force to be reckoned with.
For most of his career Lana has been by Rusev’s side, but fans have noticed that he’s been working alone since he returned to TV.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the reason why Lana didn’t return with Rusev is because the company reportedly has other ideas for her character, it has nothing to do with WWE not wanted to use her.
As of right now there’s currently no word on what WWE has planned for her.
