Triple H returned to the ring for a few matches last year, but unfortunately he suffered an injury when DX faced off against the Brothers of Destruction in the main event at Crown Jewel.
The former WWE Champion has been out of action ever since, but he recently shared some good news when he confirmed that he’s been cleared to start training again.
However, even though Triple H has started training once again, that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be competing on the Grandest Stage of Them All this year.
Sports Illustrated is reporting that Triple H’s status for WrestleMania 35 is currently up in the air.
WWE first teased a possible Triple H vs. Batista match during the Evolution reunion at SmackDown 1000, and it was expected that the match would be set up for the Show of Shows.
There’s still a possibility that he could return in time, but it’s being said that a match with Batista at WrestleMania is becoming less and less likely with each passing day.
