Sasha Banks and Bayley dropped the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to The IIconics at WrestleMania 35, and Sasha hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since.
The Boss reportedly tried to quit WWE, and the company gave her time off to figure out her next move.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the two sides are currently at a stalemate, and the mentality is that that if she wants to sit out the rest of her contract, then she can sit out the rest of her contract.
It was also noted that if she does sit out her contract then WWE could potentially add time due to Sasha not working.
WWE wants Sasha to come back, and she wants things to be different. But it’s not clear what she wants to be different, and it’s being said that the two sides have not made up.
Sasha was originally set to be part of the Money In The Bank pay-per-view, but if she’s not announced for the event next week then it’s likely she won’t be part of the show.
