The women’s division has been without one of its top stars for months now, as Sasha Banks hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since WrestleMania 35. Sasha and Bayley dropped the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to The IIconics, and it was later reported that Sasha attempted to quit WWE, so the company gave her time off.
Even though Sasha hasn’t been seen on TV, it was reported that the former Raw Women’s Champion was spotted in Orlando earlier this week filming content for the WWE video game.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there’s no set date for her return, but coming out of her meeting with Vince McMahon the belief was that she would be returning at some point.
It’s being said that The Boss doesn’t have much of a choice if she wants to work elsewhere, because if she doesn’t come back then WWE could freeze the length of her contract.
If Sasha is indeed interested in pursuing other options at some point in the future then returning as soon as possible would be the quickest way to fulfill her contract.
