CM Punk’s appearance on the Art of Wrestling podcast with Colt Cabana last year will live in infamy for quite some time. The appearance gave birth to the “make Roman look strong” meme and many other IWC staples that are still used to this day. The podcast also got both Punk and Cabana wrapped up in a lawsuit filed by WWE’s Dr. Chris Amann.
In an update on the lawsuit, Punk and Cabana have filed a motion to have the lawsuit thrown out saying that Colt was acting as a member of the media and that Punk never specifically mentioned Chris Amann by name. CM Punk did make references to a WWE doctor during the interview, but never referred to him as Dr. Chris Amann.
A judge however has ruled that the case will continue.
