Dolph Ziggler has been lucky enough to have a long career with WWE, and throughout the course of his career he’s held several titles an feuded with some of the top names in the business.
However, Dolph has reached a different stage of his career, and it’s been a while since the former World Heavyweight Champion has made an appearance on WWE programming.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Dolph Ziggler is still under contract with WWE, but he’s currently focused on doing stand up comedy.
WWE wanted to take Dolph Ziggler out of the ring and have him work backstage as an agent, but Dolph didn’t want to stop wrestling. It’s being said that the two sides kind of met in the middle, and even though he’s currently still under contract he’s using his time to do comedy.
