Last week there was a rumor going around saying that WWE is interested in bringing former World Champion Alberto Del Rio back to the company. PWInsider has now confirmed that Alberto is talking to WWE but it’s unknown if the two sides have signed a deal.
It’s interesting to note that Alberto Del Rio recently pulled out of a wXw event in Germany that happens to be taking place while WWE is in Mexico.
WWE is actively seeking the right person to be their top Hispanic star at the moment. Alberto Del Rio and Carlito are two names that WWE is reportedly interested in using to fill the spot. But it remains to be seen if either man will end up returning to the company. Stay tuned.
