The last rumor we all heard about Sting’s WWE return was that he would be appearing on the SummerSlam card. That plan was apparently nixed despite the fact that Sting got himself into “ridiculously good shape” in preparation for a match.
The latest rumor is that WWE might be using Sting at Night of Champions in September as a way to hook people into the WWE Network for that month. The event is close to home for Sting as he lives in Texas.
The six man tag match featuring Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Sting vs The Wyatt Family is reportedly still being talked about but there’s no set date for Erick Rowan’s return as of right now. Once again though, these are just rumors.
