Last week on Monday Night Raw, Dominik Mysterio defended the Intercontinental Championship against Penta. JD McDonagh and Finn Balor sat at ringside, and Balor prevented McDonagh from helping Dom as he told JD that Dom had to do it on his own. Shortly after Penta ended up defeating Dominik to win the Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career.
On this week’s episode of Raw, Dominik made his way into The Judgment Day’s clubhouse and he asked if anyone had seen Finn. The former Intercontinental Champion then said he had to go to the ring because he had something to get off his chest, so Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez went with him.
Mysterio was heavily booed as he stated that he deserves a rematch, and he should still be champion, but Penta is walking around with his title. He continued as he said we all know whose fault it is, and he called out Finn Balor.
Finn Balor made his way out to the ring with JD McDonagh. Dominik got heated as he asked where Finn has been. He told Finn that he hopes he went to Adam Pearce and got him a rematch. Finn admitted that if it wasn’t for him Dominik would still be Intercontinental Champion, and he apologized.
Balor claimed that he was trying to help by teaching Dominik a lesson. He said Dominik can be the greatest Mysterio of all time, but sometimes he has to fight his own battles. Balor told Dom that the more he tries to help him the more he realizes his dad was right, maybe Dominik is a spoiled little b****.
Dominik shoved Finn then Balor kicked Dominik and they brawled. JD McDonagh tried to pull Finn off of Dom, but Finn wouldn’t stop so JD hit him with a clothesline. The rest of the The Judgment Day then joined in on the beatdown. Dom got the ring bell hammer and JD held it in Finn’s face as Dominik hit the 619.
Mysterio followed up with a frog splash as JD McDonagh attacked Finn with a steel chair. He held the chair on top of Balor as Dominik connected with another frog splash. After the beatdown The Judgment Day stood tall over Finn Balor who was writhing in pain on the mat.
