Fans have seen WWE release a number of Superstars so far in 2021, and last Friday NXT got hit hard when a dozen talents were released. It was later reported that Triple H and Shawn Michaels were not behind the cuts, and that moving forward the brand will focus on bigger, younger wrestlers under 30.
Now the NXT brand has to deal with the fallout from the changes, and according to WrestleVotes, tensions are running high at the WWE Performance Center ahead of tonight’s NXT tapings.
It was recently reported that higher ups at USA Network are disappointed with the changes coming to NXT, and the perception is that the changes won’t be for the better. Only time will tell whether or not the changes hurt, or help the brand. Stay tuned for updates.
