Teddy Long recently made an appearance on Monday Night Raw and he tried his best to convince the McMahons that he was worthy of the General Manager on SmackDown, but unfortunately for Teddy he didn’t get the job. We probably won’t be seeing too much of Teddy on WWE programming in the near future, but according to him two former stars will be returning to the company.
Teddy Long was recently a guest on the Gerweck Report Podcast and he claimed that both MVP and Shelton Benjamin will be returning to WWE. MVP is downplaying reports about his return on Twitter, but according to Teddy, he talked to MVP recently and MVP told him that he was going back to WWE.
“Like I said, I was with MVP this weekend, and I talked to him, as far as I know he was going back. He had told me that he signed and they were sending him to Pittsburgh, they send everybody there so the doctors can check you out.”
Teddy also said that he was told Shelton Benjamin has already signed a WWE contract.
“And also, you know I can give you this too, I don’t know, I’m just saying you know, I also he told me that Shelton did sign too.”
