It’s a big weekend for WWE fans as the Crown Jewel PLE is set to air live from Perth, Australia. After Crown Jewel wraps up all eyes will be looking ahead to Survivor Series in November. In recent years the WarGames matches have been the highlight of Survivor Series, and it looks like WWE will be putting together some big teams for this year’s show.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that as of a week ago the plans for the men’s WarGames match called for Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Jacob Fatu and Jey Uso to team with another WWE star. The fifth member of the men’s team has not been decided just yet, but Jimmy Uso and LA Knight are the two names being considered.
The heel team in the men’s WarGames match will consist of Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Brock Lesnar and Austin Theory. In recent months Theory has been off television as he’s reportedly been dealing with an injury, but plans for his return seem to indicate that he will be booked as a main event level heel when he returns.
The women’s WarGames match will reportedly see AJ Lee, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and Iyo Sky face off against the team of Becky Lynch, Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax and Lash Legend.
WWE Survivor Series will air live from Petco Park in San Diego, California on Saturday, November 29th. Stay tuned for updates.
