Brian Cage has been making an impact in All Elite Wrestling ever since he arrived, and he seems to be on the path to success with Taz as his manager.
Last week during night two of Fyter Fest, Taz brought the FTW Title back, and he crowned Brian Cage FTW Champion.
One fan took to Twitter to criticize the angle by saying that AEW should create something original, and that heads would roll on social media if the FTW Title was introduced in WWE.
The comment caught Taz’s attention and he made it clear that he doesn’t agree when he posted, “Problem with wrestling social media is people like you. Disrespectful know it all but you ain’t don’t shit in the industry…but yet you chirp on here but in person to anyone from AEW/WWE/ROH/TNA/MLW you wouldn’t say nothing in person. In a writers room, you would shit your pants”
He later went on to say that he loves wrestling fans, and feels everyone is entitled to an opinion when he posted the following:
“I love wrestling fans and I feel every fan is entitled to an opinion and many times you guys have great ideas, but when you come at people disrespectfully and bash stuff you really could come off like a jerk.”
Brian Cage will defend the FTW Championship against Brian Pillman Jr. on this week’s episode of AEW Dark, and he’s also set to challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW Championship during the Fight For The Fallen edition of Dynamite on Wednesday.
