Taz Reveals He Turned Down Huge Money Offer For Match With Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar has become WWE’s biggest attraction, which means the next opponent for The Beast Incarnate is always on the minds of fans. There are several dream matches WWE fans would still like to see, but it was revealed that we missed the window for one such match.

Former ECW Alumni Taz recently claimed on his “Bodyslams and Beyond” podcast that Vince McMahon offered him a big money deal for a match with Lesnar at Madison Square Garden a few years ago. However, he turned down the offer for the match, which infuriated McMahon.

Taz felt that his injuries had piled up on his body, and the actual match would have been a big disappointment for WWE fans. However, Lesnar vs. Taz could have been really interesting to see while both were in their prime. Taz may have been a real challenge for Lesnar in the ring.

Also, Paul Heyman would have played an extremely interesting role in the middle of a rivalry between Lesnar and Taz. Unfortunately, the chances of this dream match happening now are kaput. The WWE Universe will simply have to wonder what could have been between them.
