Tama Tonga has been the talk of the wrestling world recently as it was reported last week that he had been fined for posting a video of a WWE rehearsal on social media. It was later reported that Tama Tonga was fined five figures for posting the video.
The situation has been a hot topic among wrestling fans on social media, and Tama Tonga recently explained why he’s simply moving forward after paying the fine during a live stream on TikTok.
“It’s all good. It was worth it. I had to go to my happy place, after that shenanigans. I had to go to the world’s happiest place to get myself smiling again. I think that’s the biggest thing, when you get hit with something, you just take the hit and keep moving. You can’t let that bring you down, you know? You gotta keep on moving.
Am I in the doghouse? I’ve been in the doghouse my whole life. No getting out of the dog house. I move in life like I’m in the dog house always.”
Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Tama Tonga and JC Mateo defended the WWE Tag Team Championship against R-Truth and Damian Priest. Unfortunately for the MFTs, the Wyatt Sicks interfered and Truth & Priest picked up the win to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions.
It’s not clear where Tama Tonga and the rest of the MFTs go from here, but it seems that their feud with the Wyatt Sicks is far from over.
