Chris Jericho’s AEW World Title belt is one of the hottest topics in the world of professional wrestling right now, as the belt went missing less than 24 hours after Jericho won the title at All Out. An investigation was launched, and on Wednesday morning the Tallahassee PD posted a photo of Jericho’s belt along with the following caption: “Chris Jericho, we have something that belongs to you. Celebrate with #ALittleBitOfTheBubbly (responsibly of course). More information to follow.”
However, in a strange turn of events the photo of the belt was later deleted, and now the Tallahassee PD is claiming that they can’t confirm the belt was found, and that the case remains open and active accoring to Jeffrey Burlew of the Tallahassee Democrat.
As seen above, AEW confirmed via Twitter that the belt has been recovered, but it will be interesting to see where the situation goes from here with the Tallahassee PD noting that the investigation is still open.
