This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live featured two Beat The Clock Challenge matches, and it was announced ahead of time that the overall winner of the challenge would get a shot at the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.
In the first Beat The Clock Challenge match of the night, former SmackDown Tag Team Champions American Alpha took on The Colons and they were able to defeat their opponents in five minutes and seventeen seconds.
Later in the night Tyler Breeze and Fandango, aka Breezango, aka the Fashion Police challenged The Ascension, and they managed to beat American Alpha’s time. That’s right folks, Breezango will be challenging The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at Backlash.
The WWE Backlash pay-per-view is set to air live on the WWE Network on May 21.
