Surprising Name Returns To TV On AEW Dynamite

For weeks now Chris Jericho has been taunting former ROH champions and this week he issued an open challenge to anyone who has held a title in Ring of Honor. Chris Jericho was then shocked when none other than former ROH Tag Team Champion Colt Cabana answered the call.

Colt Cabana looked emotional as he made his way out into the arena. When he entered the ring the fans chanted “Welcome back!” Cabana and Jericho brought the fight to one another and near the end of the match Cabana hit a moonsault to the outside on the Jericho Appreciation Society.

After taking out the J.A.S. Cabana got back in the ring and ended up running into a Codebreaker which allowed Jericho to pick up the win and retain the ROH World Championship.

Colt Cabana’s relationship with CM Punk has a controversial topic as Punk took several shots at Cabana during the post-show media scrum following AEW All Out. Punk has not appeared on TV since the pay-per-view and it’s been reported that AEW is in talks to buy out his contract.
