The WWE Hall Of Fame is a place reserved for people who have made a long-lasting impression on pro wrestling and participated in great programs throughout WWE’s illustrious history. One man who made quite an impact while in WWE might actually be getting a chance for a WWE Hall Of Fame induction although some might never consider his name to be in the running.
Jeff Jarrett and WWE have had issues in the past, but now that Double J isn’t a part of their Anthem Sports owned competition it looks like there could be a chance for a WWE Hall Of Fame induction. This might seem like a long-shot but apparently, it’s being batted around backstage in a serious manner.
Mike Johnson said in an audio update on PW Insider as part of their PW Insider Audio Hotline that the scuttlebutt backstage is that Jeff Jarrett could be in line for an induction and it could happen this year.
“There are guys inside of WWE that have come to me and said that they have heard that Jeff Jarrett is being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. While I have no idea that this is the case or not but there certainly seems to be some smoke floating around. Whether there is fire to that smoke, I do not know” Johnson said via the audio update.
This is very interesting news but it’s not unheard of. After all, WWE has surprised us about Hall Of Fame inductions before. But if it went down it would certainly be a big deal. Double J still has a lot of friends in WWE so apparently, this isn’t a dead issue.
We’ll have to just wait and see if there is any fire to this rumor’s smoke. But for now, we might want to hold tight every Monday on the Road To WrestleMania because they could have a rather surprising announcement coming our way.
