Last week Triple H made an appearance on Friday Night SmackDown and he thanked Adam Pearce for the work he’s done as an authority figure for WWE. The Game then declared that Adam Pearce will be the General Manager of Monday Night Raw moving forward before he introduced Nick Aldis as the new General Manager of SmackDown.
WrestleVotes is reporting that over the last month there were ideas thrown around regarding Mickie James possibly working as a Co-GM with her husband Nick Aldis. However that didn’t end up happneing.
“Rumors of Nick Aldis debuting tonight on SmackDown as a new GM. Source states that within the last month there were discussions and ideas thrown around to see if Aldis’ wife Mickie James would be interested in such a role as “Co-GMs”. This doesn’t look to be happening though.”
Mickie James was released from WWE in 2021 which ended her second run with the company that started in 2016. She did later return for a special appearance in the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble match even though she was the Impact Knockouts Champion at the time.
This weekend Mickie James will challenge Trinity for the Impact Knockouts Championship at the Bound For Glory pay-per-view. Stay tuned for updates.
