survivor series

There are a lot of things that can happen on the way to a big event and Survivor Series 2017 has been no exception to this already established rule. You really never know what will transpire in pro wrestling as any number of variables can change everything on the spur of a moment.

Although it was awful, Roman Reigns’ illness might have been a blessing in a way because it allowed a Kurt Angle in-ring return and the possibility of a New Day vs Shield match at Survivor Series. But the Survivor Series men’s team was still left in the lurch in a certain respect. They had Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe, and Kurt Angle but an addition of The Big Dog might have been just the ingredient they needed in order to really succeed.

Kurt Angle announced his son, Jason Jordan would be the fifth and final member of Team Raw at Survivor Series and a lot of people let out a collective, “um, okay” when they heard the news. But there might be a grand method to WWE’s supposed madness other than simple nepotism.

Dave Meltzer theorized on Wrestling Observer Radio that Jason Jordan might turn on his Red Team at Survivor Series and go full-on heel. Of course, there’s always the chance Roman Reigns could come back during the Atlanta Raw and take that spot away from Kurt Angle’s baby boy but at this point, JJ’s got the gig the only question is how will he use it?

If Jason Jordan did turn heel and initiated some kind of program with his Papa Kurt to culminate in a match down the line things could be interesting. Of course, they’d have to get the WWE Universe to care more about the angle first.

But it might make sense for Jason Jordan to turn heel and help his former brand to win the day. After all, they need to do something.
