There are a number of talented broadcasters on the AEW roster including Renee Paquette who officially joined the company back in 2022. Since then Renee has been featured regularly on AEW programming as an interviewer and host.

During her time with WWE, Renee joined the Monday Night Raw commentary team full-time in 2018. Renee has previously indicated that she didn’t think commentary was the right fit for her, but she recently told Cincy 360 that she does think about giving it another shot from time to time.

“Sometimes, I think about it. There are aspects that I miss, and obviously, this is a far different circumstance with AEW versus what I had done previously.

I think about it, sometimes. I love getting to do the interviews and I love getting to do the long-form interviews or the exclusive sitdowns. I love getting to do that. Every now and then, I’m listening, and I get a little bit of the itch. A little bit. We’ll see.”

Back in 2020, Renee talked to Lilian Garcia about her experience working as a commentator in WWE, and she admitted that she felt relieved when she was able to step away from the announce booth.

“I was up for the challenge and I really wanted to make it awesome. Like, I really wanted to make it succeed. You get down on yourself and you’re waiting to get the call from the office saying we’re not doing this anymore. They let me stay out there a lot longer than I thought they were going to. It was nice to feel like I got a good opportunity. But honestly, I was relieved to stop doing it.”
