The women’s Money in the Bank ladder match kicked off Saturday night’s show, and the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match headlined the event. Omos, Riddle, Sheamus, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Sami Zayn and Madcap Moss made their way out into arena ready to do battle, but another WWE star was added to the match before it kicked off.
After all of the competitors made their way to the ring Adam Pearce made his way out with a special announcement. Pearce said that he wanted to add an eighth competitor to the Money in the Bank ladder match which turned out to be former United States Champion Theory.
At one point during the match Sheamus, Riddle, Madcap Moss and Drew McIntyre teamed up outside the ring and buried Omos in a pile of ladders. Later in the match, Theory threw Riddle into a ladder that was set up in the corner and Riddle ran up the ladder then hit the Floating Bro on Madcap Moss, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus and Seth Rollins. Omos then made his way back into the match as he entered the ring.
The Money in the Bank competitors, minus Theory, once again teamed up to take down Omos, and they put him through the announce table with a six man powerbomb to take him out of the match.
Drew McIntyre started to climb the ladder, but Butch interfered and tried to choke him out. Sheamus then kicked McIntyre in the face and pinned him underneath the ladder. Sheamus almost grabbed the contract, but Drew lifted up the ladder and knocked him off, then he hit Butch with a Claymore.
McIntyre and Sheamus climbed up the ladder and battled at the top then Sami Zayn knocked them over. Zayn started climbing and he almost had it, but Madcap Moss pushed him off, then Seth pushed Moss off and stomped him.
Riddle set up a bigger ladder and then he climbed as he fought with Rollins who was on a ladder next to him. Riddle hit Rollins with the RKO off the ladder. After taking a second to compose himself Riddle climbed the ladder, but Theory slid into the ring. Theory climbed the ladder, battled Riddle at the top, then pushed him off and grabbed the briefcase to win the match.
