The annual Royal Rumble premium live event kicked off the road to WrestleMania on Saturday night and the women’s Royal Rumble match opened the show. Bayley ended up winning it all and she also set a new record as she was in the match for 63 minutes and 3 seconds.
Bayley beat Rhea Ripley’s previous record of 61 minutes and 8 seconds and she later declared on social media that she’s ready to beat Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40 in April. Rhea Ripley responded to the challenge and proposed that they face off in an Iron Woman match.
Bayley seemingly agreed to the stipulation when she responded with the following:
“I’m 1-0 in that match. (It was the first women’s main event on a PLE ever). Let’s go ”
While Bayley has stated on social media that she’s looking to beat Rhea Ripley, WWE has yet to officially confirm the match for WrestleMania, so it will be interesting to see how things play out in the weeks to come.
