Sting has been lucky enough to have a long career in the world of professional wrestling, but it all came to an end on Sunday night at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view.
Darby Allin & Sting defended the AEW World Tag Team Championship against The Young Bucks in the main event of the show and Sting picked up another big victory to keep his AEW undefeated streak intact.
The end of the match came when The Young Bucks went for the TK Driver on Sting, but Darby Allin made the save as he pushed Nick Jackson off the top rope through a table on the outside. Darby then hit the Coffin Drop on Matt Jackson as Sting followed up when he made Matt tap out to the Scorpion Deathlock.
After the match Darby Allin and Sting celebrated then Sting cut a promo. He thanked the fans and thanked Darby for being the best tag team partner. Sting said that he’s a risk taker as the fans chanted “you still got it!” The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion joked that he was getting cues and he told the fans to hold then the show got cut off while Sting was still apparently cutting a promo for the fans in the arena.
