Fans waited years to see Sting in WWE, and he finally made his debut at Survivor Series in 2014, and then followed up with a WrestleMania match against Triple H at WrestleMania 31 in 2015.
Later that year Sting wrestled his final match against Seth Rollins at Night of Champions in 2015, and he later retired during the 2016 Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Even though Sting is retired, he’s made it clear over the years that he still has a great deal of interest in a match against The Undertaker.
The former WCW World Champion recently teased a potential return when he posted a picture of himself on a motorcycle along with the caption: “Who wants to take a “last” ride with Sting?”
Undertaker recently noted in his “Last Ride” documentary that he doesn’t have any plans to return to the ring. It’s also worth noting that Sting is no longer under WWE contract.
