WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin recently spoke to Rolling Stone about his wrestling career and more.
During the interview Austin praised WWE’s crew by emphasizing that it’s tough work writing three hours of Raw every week and two hours of SmackDown. He said that he doesn’t always agree with the moves they make but he tries not to nitpick it because he knows they’re trying their best.
He went on to talk about wrestlers getting sucked into the part lifestyle and he noted that he always hung out with the drinking crowd in WWE. But he followed up by saying no matter how much he drank or how good he felt, nothing even compared to the feeling he got when he walked through the curtain.
“Goddang, I’ll tell you what. When you walk out, and that f–king glass breaks, and those motherf–kers jump out of their seats, there ain’t nothin’ like that in the world. As drunk as I ever got, nothing touches that feeling. In my life, what replaces that or comes close? Nothing.”
Steve Austin has already confirmed that he will be making an appearance at WrestleMania 32 but what his role will be is unknown at this point.
