It was recently reported by LawyerHerald.com that Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan and The Rock are all confirmed for The Expendables 4. On the most recent episode of his podcast Austin shot down the report about him being in the film.
Austin did a Q&A session during the episode as he read e-mails from fans. One fan asked if he was set to appear in the film and he said he didn’t know anything about it. He was asked again if he was in the film via another e-mail and Austin responded by saying “No.”
He did however note that his character Dan Paine was never confirmed as dead. In the first Expendables Austin’s character gets thrown into a fire and seemingly burns to death. Austin joked that they probably just brought him to urgent care after.
