The past few weeks have been good for fans of The Attitude Era. Trish Stratus & Lita returned, DX returned and the Brothers of Destruction returned.
But one Attitude Era favorite who fans haven’t seen as of late is Stone Cold Steve Austin
The WWE Hall of Famer recently addressed a potential return on the Steve Austin Show, and he noted that he’s not returning because he doesn’t want fans to harp on his age.
“They say, ‘Hey man, Steve, everybody’s making a comeback. HBK’s back, Triple H is back, Undertaker is back. They got the Brothers of Destruction. They’re heading over to Saudi Arabia.’ I’m like, ‘Okay, so if I did come back, do I want to come back as being the 53-year old Stone Cold Steve Austin or be ass-kicking Stone Cold Steve Austin. I want them to harp on my ass-kicking, not my age.”
