Steve Austin Reveals Backstage Reaction To The Smoking Skull Title Belt

Steve Austin is without a doubt one of the most well known wrestlers to ever step foot in the ring, and he held the WWE Championship six times throughout the course of his career.

Fans have seen a few wrestlers get their own custom WWE Championship belts over the years, and Steve Austin got a lot of people talking when he unveiled the Smoking Skull belt.

Steve Austin recently spoke to Sam Roberts about the Smoking Skull belt, and he revealed that the title was accepted by the other wrestlers in the locker room.

“It was special. When you get that belt, it’s not about you being bigger than the business, because you’re not, but it’s pretty special and unique and doesn’t happen often, and it was accepted. The rest of the guys in the locker room, you care what they think, ‘this guy has really turned into an asshole, he’s got his own belt.’ You don’t want that. I don’t think anybody thought that.”
