WWE has had some pretty awesome championship belts throughout the years but people don’t seem to be very fond of the current WWE Tag Team Championship belts. Steve Austin specifically had some harsh things to say about the belts on the latest edition of the Steve Austin Show.
“They look like two gigantic copper pennies that got run over by a railroad train and they put them on a piece of leather. Gold means championship and you can get away with classic silver, and a lot of belts did, but, come on, man. Bronze? Copper?” Austin said.
Austin went on to say that the WWE “winged eagle” belt, NWA World Championship, the “smoking skull” belt, the WCW Television Championship and the Intercontinental Championship belt he held were some of his favorites.
