During Steve Austin’s podcast with Paul Heyman, Heyman asked the million dollar question, is Steve Austin interested in facing Brock Lesnar?
When asked about the possibility of a match Austin didn’t shy away from answering the question one bit. Austin got all fired up and responded by saying:
“If I was going to fight Brock Lesnar, I would beat his ass.”
He then went on to say:
“I’d have to think about it, but the person who would really have to think about it is Brock Lesnar. I don’t think he’d want to take all the momentum and all the good stuff you all have done to roll in to 105,000 people and get his ass smoked.”
Whoa, those were fighting words coming from Steve Austin’s mouth. Austin then mentioned that if the match did go down he would want it to be a Texas Death Match.
It’s no big secret that WWE is looking to break the attendance record next year at WrestleMania 32 in Texas. From Steve Austin’s comments tonight it sounds like he might be down to help them break that record.
