Roman Reigns is the top star in WWE, and the commentators like to remind us every chance they get that he’s The Big Dog. The company obviously has big plans for Roman Reigns heading into WrestleMania, but it’s unlikely that WWE officials are going to be happy with claims that are being made by the former owner of Iron Addicts Gym in Miami, Richard Rodriguez.
Rodriguez was arrested in February of 2017 after his gym was raided by the DEA, and he was accused of being a part of a steroid distribution ring.
Jon Bravo recently released audio from an interview he did with Richard Rodriguez, and he has named Roman Reigns and other celebrities such as Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel as his clients.
“At the end I’m just trying to clear my name and just make people well aware, there’s a lot more people out there that were involved and are associated with my company that many individuals did not know,” Rodriguez said. “One of them in particular is a very famous wrestler by the name of Roman Reigns. He was originally introduced to me by one of the informants [laughs]. I’ve probably heard his name in the past due to numerous videos that Jonny Bravo has done, and also some including myself on my own channel.”
In 2016 Roman Reigns was suspended from WWE for violating the Wellness Policy, but it was later reported that he had failed for Adderall.
Rodriguez went on to note that Reigns is a very “down to earth guy” and he later found out Reigns was working with the authorities when he took a plea deal.
It’s also worth noting at this point these are nothing more than allegations, and WWE has yet to release a statement in response to the allegations.
You can check out the video below, the comments regarding Reigns start around the 4 minute mark.
