The Hollywood Reporter has been reporting that Stephen Amell as The Arrow will face Stardust at WWE SummerSlam. Amell took to Twitter saying that the rumors aren’t true and Stardust continued to taunt him.
WWE mentioned Amell several times during Stardust’s match during the Elimination Chamber pre-show and made a point to say that he wants to get involved with WWE. Stardust even changed the name of his finisher to The Queen’s Crossbow as a reference to Oliver Queen.
It should be noted that Stephen has even changed his profile picture on Twitter to a picture of him facing off with Stardust. Amell says that it’s not true that he will be fighting Stardust, but he doesn’t say anything about The Arrow fighting Stardust. Stardust also mentioned that he doesn’t want to fight Stephen, likely insinuating that he wants to face The Arrow. From the exchange below it looks like they’re just messing with the fans trying to build up a feud. Check it out below and decide for yourself.
