“Arrow” star Stephen Amell is no stranger to the world of professional wrestling, as he’s wrestled matches in WWE, ROH and he also faced Christopher Daniels at All In last year.
When it comes to celebrity angles in professional wrestling, they don’t always go over all that well with the fans, and it’s probably safe to say Amell has found that out first hand.
It’s been a while since fans have seen Batista wrestle, because he’s been focusing on his movie career over the last few years, but on Monday it was confirmed that he will face Triple H in a No Holds Barred match at WrestleMania 35.
Amell recently took to Twitter to seemingly joke about Batista’s WrestleMania match with Triple H when he said he doesn’t, “want to see a celebrity angle detract from an awesome wrestling card.”
Stephen then received a response from The Animal himself.
