Stephanie McMahon has been an integral part of WWE for decades now, but today the Chief Brand Officer announced that she will be taking a leave of absence from the company. McMahon announced on Twitter that she will be taking time off to focus on her family and the announcement reads as follows:
“As of tomorrow, I am taking a leave of absence from the majority of my responsibilities at WWE. WWE is a lifelong legacy for me and I look forward to returning to the company that I love after taking this time to focus on my family.”

As of right now there doesn’t appear to be a timetable for Stephanie McMahon’s return to WWE and the company has not made any announcements regarding who will be taking over her duties in her absence.
Throughout her career Stephanie McMahon has taken on a number of roles behind the scenes such as Accountant Executive, Senior Vice President of Creative Writing and Executive Vice President of Creative before she took on the role of Chief Brand Officer in 2013. In addition to her behind the scenes roles Stephanie McMahon has also spent a lot of time in front of the camera as an on screen character in WWE.
Stephanie McMahon married Triple H in 2003 and together they have three daughters. Triple H suffered a cardiac event last year and he confirmed that he is now retired from in-ring competition. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
