Stephanie McMahon Says WWE Can Be As Big Or Bigger Than Disney

Anything can happen in the world of professional wrestling, and Stephanie McMahon recently said that she believes that WWE can be much bigger than it is now.

Stephanie was interviewed by CNBC’s Elizabeth Schulze at Web Summit in Lisbon on Tuesday, and she said that WWE has big goals for the future.

“10-20-30 years from now, there’s no reason we can’t be as big [as] or bigger than Disney. Now that’s a tall order, especially given recent transactions. However, there’s no reason why we can’t get there. You have to dream big, have big, bold goals, and go after them.”

Disney is one of the largest companies in the world and also includes other massive brands such as Lucasfilm, Marvel, Pixar and others under their umbrella.

The Big Lead notes that WWE’s market cap is $5.8 billion and Disney’s is $172.7 billion, which means WWE has a very, very long way to go if the company wants to reach Disney’s level.

What do you think WWE has to do to make their brand bigger than it is right now? Sound off in the comments below.
