Stephanie McMahon Reportedly Turns Down Major Backstage Role In WWE

Stephanie McMahon has been around the professional wrestling business her whole life, and she’s obviously found a lot of success within the industry. Steph knows a thing or two about what goes on behind the scenes in WWE, and she has years of experience under her belt at this point.

Paul Heyman is also someone who has years of experience in the world of wrestling, and last year he was named Executive Director of Monday Night Raw.

Fightful Select reports that many people were shocked when Heyman took the job and put himself in a position where he would work directly under Vince McMahon.

It was also noted that Stephanie McMahon didn’t want the job, and that she’s currently happy with the role she has in WWE.

Most people also assumed that when Heyman was given the job, and Eric Bischoff was hired as the Executive Director of SmackDown, that if Triple H wanted the position he would have had it.

Paul Heyman was removed from his Executive Director position earlier this year, but he recently noted that he and Vince McMahon are still on good terms following his removal from the role. He’s currently appearing on SmackDown as an advisor for Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
