Monday Night Raw kicked off with a big announcement this week, and prior to the show there was a lot of speculation in regards to what the announcement would be.
At the beginning of the show Stephanie McMahon announced WWE’s first ever all women’s pay-per-view which is set to air in October, but she didn’t mention anything about the rumored Women’s Tag Team Titles.
Stephanie recently spoke to Sky Sports about the rumored title belts, and she confirmed that the titles are something the company is looking to introduce.
“Not quite yet but that’s absolutely something we’ve heard loud and clear from our fan base and it’s something we’re keen on implementing as soon as we are able to.”
Stephanie was also asked if she’ll be returning to the ring at Evolution, but she said that decision hasn’t been made yet.
“That’s yet to be determined, we want to make sure our superstars really get the spotlight they deserve but if it makes sense then absolutely. But that’s yet to be determined.”
